News and Announcements for August 2010:
• The boys 1st-6th grade instructional lacrosse league at Tab Ramos in Matawan is set to begin its 3rd season on Saturday October 30th. This league focuses on skill development with competitive games. We hold registration to aproximately 60 players and it has sold out the past 2 years so please sign up early! Additional information and a registration form can be found by clicking "forms".
• Coach Guastella is beginning to build Fall outdoor lacrosse training groups for early September start dates. Please call or email if interested.

Small Group Training
Hoop Lax provides personalized instruction in basketball and lacrosse that can be tailored to the athlete's individual needs. Hoop Lax programs can be designed for 4th graders just starting out, advanced high school players looking to fine-tune skills, and any athlete in between.
Our small-group approach enhances the pace and depth of skill development. Camps are good but if you really want to work on improving your skills, small group instruction can be very effective. You will receive more attention from highly qualified coaches than a camp setting can offer.

College Recruiting Service
Coach Guastella is now offering a college search and recruiting service for lacrosse and basketball players through his Hoop Lax training company. He will provide academic tutoring, mentoring and a clear roadmap on how to maximize your student athlete’s exposure during the recruiting process. Coach Guastella will also have your student athlete’s games and workouts filmed and create a high quality video presentation. This video along with your student athlete’s academic and athletic resume will be available for hundreds of college coaches to view with a password on the Hoop Lax website.
